Many skin boosters can stimulate remodelling of the extracellular matrix in terms of elasticity and support, as well as maintaining and supporting the normal health & vitality of skin cells that have important functions to keep your skin healthy. 

Skin boosters can help to stimulate the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve & restore firmness, tone and elasticity of the skin.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is found naturally within the body and 50% of the body’s HA is found in the skin. It is responsible for maintaining levels of moisture to protect the skin barrier. HA synthesis increases when the wound-healing response is triggered and is linked to the production of collagen through the activation of fibroblasts. 

The natural ageing of the body begins at around age 30.  The vitamins, antioxidants hydration, collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid all begin to slowly decline from age 30 with significant deterioration around menopause.  Knowing this it would be appropriate to begin the prevention of signs of ageing from age 30 for best results.

Preventative plan-

These are clients with no visible lines when the face is at rest, only lines when expression is made. These clients are easier to treat, get longer results and need the treatment less frequently. Treatments are typically recommended every 9-12 monthly.

Maintenance plan-

These clients have achieved the look they desire, and generally, only need to maintain the results over time, often only needing treatments every 6 months or so and only need additional treatments as the natural ageing process occurs.

For anyone undergoing the problem of skin laxity, Skin boosters are known for their performance in treating it. The treatment processes in a manner where collagen and elastin fibers are remodelled at the extra cellular matrix and counteract skin laxity.

3)   Deeply hydrates the skin

The hyaluronic acid particles act as an intense moisturiser for the skin.  Hyaluronic acid is the vital essence that plays a part in balancing our skin’s natural moisture levels and without this, the skin will begin to dehydrate and become crepey. As Hyaluronic acid is also responsible for your skin’s natural repair system – this allows for healing and tissue remodelling within the dermis.

4)   Improves fine lines and wrinkles

Most people face issues on specific parts of their face, such as under eye wrinkles, crepey cheeks, or fine lines that surround the eyes and mouth. 

5)   Stimulates collagen and elastin

they work to aid in increasing the production of collagen and elastin long-term alongside providing impeccable, instant results. The use of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) further aids the synthesis of collagen and elastin which will work to prevent skin laxity (loose skin or sagginess).

Avoid putting any makeup or heavy products on the area for 24 hours.

No excessive heat such as Gyms/ Saunas/ Steam rooms/ Hot Showers and baths for 48 hours.

Avoid travelling abroad for 48 hours.

Try not to touch or massage the injected area.

Clients should refrain from consuming alcohol or caffeine or any NSAID medications for 24 hours post treatment. 

Follow the recommended steps for any bruising/ swelling.

Ensure your client is aware of any safety signs to look out for, such as infection indicators.

Advise client to wear SPF for 72 hours post treatment.
